II. What Is an ITIN Loan?
Every year, millions of non-resident aliens, foreign nationals, and undocumented immigrants pay billions in taxes to the US government using an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) issued by the IRS. Despite their proven financial stability, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the FHA strictly mandate a valid Social Security Number, shutting these buyers out of the housing market.

III. How Credit is Handled (The "Alternative Credit" Solution)
Without a Social Security Number, it is often incredibly difficult to generate a standard FICO credit score through the major US bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion). ITIN lenders understand this and offer flexible alternatives.
Using a Standard ITIN Credit Score

If you receive a W-2 from your employer and file your taxes using your ITIN, you will qualify much like a standard Conventional loan. You will need to provide two years of W-2s, 30 days of recent paystubs, and two years of ITIN tax returns.
For Self-Employed Borrowers
Many ITIN holders run their own businesses or work as independent contractors. If you file your business taxes using your ITIN, we can use your tax returns. However, if your tax returns show too many write-offs, we can combine the ITIN loan with a Bank Statement Loan.
